Launch an 8-week limited-time item across every location on the same day. Most stores are run by independent operators, and the line staff is high-turnover and partly Spanish-speaking. Culinary had a recipe card. Ops needed every team member able to build it to spec, safely, before day one, and needed proof they could.
Design decisions
- One rule up front: "glaze to order" protects quality and cuts waste, so every piece of the kit reinforces it.
- The laminate does the remembering. The module teaches why; the laminate at the station covers the specs, so nobody has to memorize pump counts.
- Certification is observed, not quizzed. A short online check gates the practical build check, and the practical check is what certifies.
- Field and operators go first. They're certified and calibrated before they certify their teams.
